One great project

The Venice Sands Business Network represents the first example in Veneto of shared territorial promotion in the seaside tourism sector.

Founded in 2017, the initiative brings together consortia and business networks representing some of the most important seaside destinations in Veneto: Jesolo, Caorle, San Michele al Tagliamento – Bibione, Cavallino-Treporti and Eraclea. Different territories, united by a shared vision aimed at strengthening the international competitiveness of the Venice sea and its beaches.

Venice Sands promotes the beaches and the sea of Veneto, enhancing the distinctive features of each destination and their cultural, environmental and tourism heritage. The goal is to offer targeted, high-quality tourism products capable of meeting the needs and desires of the millions of visitors who choose these destinations every year for their seaside holidays.

Discovering the beaches of Venice means enjoying authentic and complementary experiences: from the lively atmosphere of Jesolo to the history and charm of Caorle, from the nature and family-friendly hospitality of Bibione to the open-air spirit of Cavallino-Treporti, all the way to the peaceful green surroundings of Eraclea Mare.

The beaches of Veneto that are part of Venice Sands share high quality standards, certified by the Blue Flag, the international award granted each year by the Foundation for Environmental Education (FEE) for environmental quality, safety and services.

The seaside destinations of Venice Sands are synonymous with tourism excellence, high-level hospitality and efficient, cutting-edge services, confirming their position among the most popular destinations for seaside tourism in Italy.

Mission and Objectives

Venice Sands is an initiative that brings together the main seaside destinations along the Venetian coast, creating a single brand to promote the sea theme, enhance the unique characteristics of each location, and foster cooperation and dialogue between consortia and territories, as well as between entrepreneurs and public authorities.

The objective is to consolidate visitors from traditional source markets and attract new market segments. Key actions of the project include the development of a coordinated visual identity, shared promotional materials, participation in industry trade fairs, and integrated communication to strengthen the international presence of the Venetian beaches. Bringing together the different destinations makes it possible to optimise resources and investments. The project also involves the collaboration of important partner companies, such as ATVO (Azienda Trasporti Veneto Orientale).
